Every Soul Matters is a resource hub for churches looking to start a special needs ministry or enhance their current special needs ministry. At my church, one of our core values is that every soul matters to God. That is the inspiration behind the name of this website and the power of special needs ministry within the church.

Hello! My name is Sarah and I am the creator of Every Soul Matters. I serve in the COOL Kids special needs ministry at my church in North Little Rock, Arkansas. In addition, I am an occupational therapy student at the University of Central Arkansas. Through this page, I get to combine my passions of occupational therapy and equipping churches with tools and resources to support children with special needs and their families. When surveying the needs of religious communities, I found that a main reason why churches have yet to start a special needs ministry or include children with special needs in their children's ministry is due to a lack of knowledge and/or training. I wanted to utilize my occupational therapy knowledge and experience to create training videos for both leaders and volunteers in an attempt to bridge that gap.
